It will be a tough task for the visitors to make a come back in the five ODI series, as they have lost the first two matches miserably to the Australians. Pakistan needs a desperate win but after two consecutive wins the Aussies will be more aggressive and might most probably clinch the series on Tuesday.

And the previous game’s 140-run victory over the visitors would have inflated their confidence levels. Cameron White has been the key player as far as the Kangaroos are concerned who has shown tremendous form in the first two matches and there will be no changes in the Aussie’s side.

Pakistan has no choice but to bounce back with their best in the upcoming game. The Pakistani side will be hoping that pace bowler Mohammad Asif will return on Tuesday’s match who injured his hand in the first game.

The batting side has been very disappointing for the Pakistanis and hopefully few of the top order batsmen will display some good batting performances. But overall, the Aussies look to be in a stronger position and will most likely take away the match. Watch 3rd ODI of Hero honda cup 2009 between India vs Australia Live Streaming at Delhi, Ind vs Aus Live score on 31st October 2009, 9:00 GMT. After two matches in the series, the Indian fast bowlers can breathe easier with the spotlight shifting to their Australian counterparts. If India’s fast men were the weak link going into the series, the death overs have indeed spelt doom for the Australian quicks.

The good news for both the captains, though, was that the conditions might not help the big hitters in Delhi, if the Champions League Twent20 matches are any indication. Ponting has followed the Champions League matches in Delhi and could be one of the few visiting captains who won’t mind a low and turning pitch.

Sri Lanka takes on Pakistan with the series lead 2-0 with the termendeous bowling effort by the Srilankan bowlers in the 2nd Odi.The bowlers, with Thilan Thushara taking 3 for 33, had reduced Pakistan to 87 for 7, but two doughty tailend partnerships lifted them to 168. Mohammad Aamer top-scored with 24, but it was extras that was the largest contributor (26) as Sri Lanka got a little sloppy in the final stages. They didn’t start well with the bat either, and when Mahela Jayawardene pulled Shahid Afridi to short midwicket, the scoreboard showed 74 for 4.

Jayasuriya then survived a strong shout for leg-before from Aamer, before Gul was greeted with a miscued pull for four. With Kumar Sangakkara struggling though, the run rate dropped, and a moment of madness between two experienced pros gave Pakistan a route back into the game. Jayasuriya pushed one to mid-off and half-set off, but when he stopped, Sangakkara was still haring down without looking. Two balls later, Jayasuriya carved one to deep point, where Umar Akmal held his nerve to hold a difficult catch.

This match is going to be the decider of the series and for sure will hold our nerves.

India’s bowlers were indisciplined in the first game, bowling 19 wides and two front-foot no-balls, and the trait seemed to have rubbed off on their batsmen. Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj, each got out chasing wide deliveries, while the tail, with the exception of RP Singh, who added 101 with Dhoni to save India’s blushes, was hapless. Dhoni, at the end of the game, pointed out that over-reliance on Yuvraj, who has scores of 131 and 35 in the series, was not going to win India the series. And with an important game coming up, India’s top order will have to step up, with greater preparedness to counter the short ball.
India (probable): 1 Gautam Gambhir, 2 Dinesh Karthik, 3 Rohit Sharma, 4 Yuvraj Singh, 5 MS Dhoni (capt & wk), 6 Yusuf Pathan, 7 Ravindra Jadeja/ Abhishek Nayar, 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Ishant Sharma, 10 RP Singh, 11 Ashish Nehra.

West Indies (probable): 1 Chris Gayle (capt), 2 Runako Morton, 3 Ramnaresh Sarwan, 4 Shivnarine Chanderpaul, 5 Dwayne Bravo, 6 Darren Bravo, 7 Denesh Ramdin (wk), 8 Jerome Taylor, 9 David Bernard, 10 Suleiman Benn, 11 Lionel Baker/ Ravi Rampaul.

India didn’t help their cause initially with their sloppy fielding though. Mahendra Singh Dhoni dropped Ryder on 43 and McCullum was let off by Yusuf Pathan on 38.

Yet ironically, it was their fielding that allowed to India to regain ground they were rapidly conceding. Suresh Raina’s accurate throw from cover caught McCullum short of his crease and Yuvraj Singh ran out Ross Taylor from short fine-leg. Until then, however, the Indian fielders were on a massive leather hunt
