2nd ODI of 5 match series between India and Sri Lankan will be played on Wednesday,20th August, 2008 at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, a day game will start at 9.00 AM IST. Sri Lankan won the opening ODI at the same ground on Monday easily by 8 wickets.

India’s in form batsman Virender Sehwag as been ruled out of the remaining four one-day internationals adding further problems for India, as they are badly need a big win to gain their confidence further in the series and ahead of Champions Trophy starting next month. Sehwag had twisted his left ankle during practice on Sunday and played no part in the first ODI, he scored 344 runs in the Test series.

Sri Lankan probably select the same winning team which won the 1st ODI on the same ground. Mendis and Muralitharan are in good from troubling almost all Indian bats mans from the beginning of the series.
