Santhosh Indian Idol 5 Live Stream Online | Grand Finale Winners: The fifth season is being judged by Anu Malik, along with two new judges Salim Merchant and Sunidhi Chauhan. The present contestants who have got selected for the Grand Finale are Sreeramchandra, Bhoomi, Rakesh. The finale is going to be on August 15 2010 (which also happens to be the Indian Independence Day). For the first time in Indian Idol, the finale is held between three contestants.

It was a huge shock when Rakesh Maini was eliminated. But the Judges used their veto power, which gave them special power to save any eliminated contestant, and Rakesh was saved from being eliminated. According to people it was used appropriately. This Veto could be used just once during the course of the entire competition. The judges had not been granted this special power in any of the previous seasons.
The Grand Finale is to be held on the 15th of August, 2010. The public pulse seems to suggest that Sreeram will be Indian Idol 5, because he is believed to be technically superior and more versatile than the other two finalists. John Abraham, the celebrity guest in the episode on 3 August, also predicted Sreeram’s win. He has apparently predicted the winners correctly, in the earlier seasons of Indian Idol.
